On September 21, 2015 The Westlake Men’s Club hosted the Twelfth Annual Blood Drive in memory of Chuck Boudreau, a resident stricken with leukemia, and succumbed to the disease in 2004. Also, on that day, the club chose to once again honor and support Angelina Roberto as our poster child. Angelina, the granddaughter of Jackson Mayor Michael Reina, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2012, and still battles the disease. The residents of Westlake came out as a well-coordinated team! Volunteering to give blood, money and time, 130 units of blood was collected for Central Jersey Blood Center, while over $9700.00 in donations for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was raised!
